Santiago de la Ribera and the Mar Menor
01

Start with the
Mar Menor.

Santiago de la Ribera is only 2.2 km away, so this is usually where we begin. Walk the promenade, have lunch beside the water and come home for another swim in the pool.

Cartagena city and harbour
02

Take the day
to Cartagena.

Cartagena is our choice when we want a little more bustle. We wander through the old streets, visit the Roman theatre and always leave room for tapas by the harbour.

Calblanque natural park and beach
03

Walk, swim,
disappear awhile.

For a quieter day, we pack water and head to Calblanque. Go early, choose a path or a cove and let the day decide the rest.
